Adsumu is for showing up with friends. Everyone agrees to these guidelines when they sign up, and they're part of our Terms of Service. They cover everything on Adsumu: photos, captions, replies, names, usernames, profile photos, and circle names and descriptions.
Be real
Post your own photo of your own habit, taken by you, live in the app. Don't pretend to be someone else, and don't post someone else's photos as your own.
Be kind
No bullying, harassment, threats or hate, in photos, captions or replies. That includes:
- insulting, shaming or ganging up on someone, including about their body, weight or progress;
- attacking people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious illness, or using hate symbols;
- threatening anyone, or encouraging others to;
- sharing someone's private information (like their address or phone number) or photos of them they wouldn't want shared.
Nudges are friendly reminders. Don't use them to pressure or harass anyone.
Keep it clothed
No nudity or sexual content of any kind. Gym photos are fine; keep them gym-appropriate. Nothing that sexualizes anyone under 18, ever.
Keep it safe
- No violence or gore, and no weapons or drugs.
- Nothing that promotes or encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders, and no dangerous challenges.
- Never put yourself or anyone else in danger for a photo, and don't use the app while driving.
If you're struggling, you're not alone: call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), any time. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.
13 and up
You have to be 13 or older to use Adsumu. If you're under 18, get a parent's or guardian's OK first. If you think someone on Adsumu is under 13, report their account.
No spam or scams
No selling, fake giveaways, chain messages, or links sent to strangers. Don't use fake accounts, bots or extra accounts.
Zero tolerance
Breaking these guidelines gets a photo taken down and a strike. Three strikes and the account is banned. Nudity, threats or anything that puts a kid at risk means a ban the first time, and we report it to the authorities. Anything that sexualizes a minor is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). Banned people aren't allowed to make a new account.
See something? Report it
- Tap ••• on any photo or reply, or on someone's profile, and choose Report. Reports are anonymous.
- A photo or reply you report is hidden for you right away.
- You can also block someone (you won't see each other anywhere, and they aren't told) or mute them.
- Our team reviews reports, the most urgent first. To keep things private, we don't tell the person who reported what we decided.
- For anything else, or if you think we got something wrong, email [email protected].
